AP Cm Chandrababu never had the habit of looking back! Never did he fret about the overheads involved in a whimsical fancy that took to twirl in the magnificent aquarium also known as Babu’s Brain. This time it’s about the Yoga training classes. A few months ago, he pressed in the Yoga guru Jaggi Vasudev, the founder of Isha Foundation, to train the members of the State’s Cabinet and the IAS officers in Yoga. Babu himself participated in those ‘classes’ and rendered some complicated dance steps for the exclusive consumption of his comrades and the renowned Yoga Guru. He didn’t bother to spend Three Crore Rupees for just a three-day-camp. In addition, he initiated the process of allotting 400 acres of land in the Capital region of the AP for the Yoga Guru’s foundation.
Unfazed by the criticism voiced against this Yoga Extravaganza, the CM of AP is taking up another grand, gala Yoga event. This time the Goddess of fortune showered her benevolence on Ramdev Baba, another World Renowned Yoga Guru. The Baba will be training the members of the AP Legislative Assembly who are to meet at Tullur around this December. He would take up this training class on the day-before or the day-after the assembly sits for a session. A little bird told us that the fee to be collected by the Baba would be equally hefty, if not more than what the Yoga Guru was rewarded. However it’s yet to be decided whether hundreds of acres of land for Patanjali Ashram will also be allotted or not, according to informed sources.
Don’t be in a hurry to conclude that The CM of AP reserves his generosity to non-Telugu beneficiaries alone. The State govt. delegated the ‘responsibility’ of providing all facilities for the legislators to a consultancy- for a hefty consideration of course! Something is always better than nothing, no…?
